The team are currently working on a new monthly Fire Check form in the Inspections tab of Civica for schools, which will ask for evidence about your weekly fire call point tests for example. We will be removing the weekly inspections forms as we realise schools do not have the resources to complete them every week.

Please continue to record your weekly and monthly fire checks using our HS F10 Fire Forms which include forms for noting fire extinguisher checks, emergency lighting and the F10f to complete after each termly fire drill. There will still be a separate Inspection form on Civica to complete to note the details of your fire drill every 3 months.

An additional Demo of Civica was recorded recently and the following topics were covered:

  • General navigation of the Civica Property System
  • Viewing inspection documents and information managed by Education Property
  • Finding fire reports & site plans
  • Annual returns – finding & updating
  • Viewing and updating tasks/documents
  • Completing & updating actions
  • Reporting

Please note that if Education Property manage your school’s inspections (Servicing) you can now view the detail of these inspections and the associated servicing certificates in the system
