Somerset Council and local partners are asking care providers to help promote a free Health and Wellbeing Information Day taking place on Thursday 1 October, from 1pm to 4pm at Trull Memorial Hall.
The event will bring together trusted local organisations offering friendly, impartial advice on a wide range of topics, including:
- Health and care support
- Support for carers
- Staying independent in later life
- Local community activities and services
The event is open to everyone. People do not need to receive social care services to attend. It may be particularly helpful for residents, family members, carers, friends, or anyone looking for information about support available in Somerset.
We would be grateful if care providers could help spread the word by sharing details with:
- Residents who may benefit
- Families and visitors
- Staff members
- Unpaid carers connected to your service
Free tea and coffee will be available, and there is free parking on site.
By sharing information about this event, you can help people discover local services, advice and support that could improve their health, wellbeing and independence.
