At Beech Grove Primary School the Office Manager reminds staff regularly about particular risk assessments, via a monthly email, with the catchy title “Risk Assessment of the Month”.
Most recently she wrote, “As we are in the summer term, I thought I would send you all the Sport Risk Assessments. I appreciate it would be a lot to read all of them, but thought it may be helpful to have them all, so you can then look at any that are particularly relevant to you, at any particular time.”
She also went on to explain that “The majority of these are due to be reviewed next month, so if there is anything that needs amending, please let me know.”
Another method of sharing Risk Assessments can be via Safe Working Procedures which clearly show the control measures arising from a risk assessment, in order to eliminate identified hazards (where possible) and complete the task with minimum risk.
